Default Concept class: The Alchemist

THE ALCHEMIST


You know the deal. An Alchemist, makes potions, mechanical contraptions and uses a crossbow.
Yup. Also being my 12th concept class and subsequently likely the latest for a while, I have included
a list of my previous concept classes at the end of this post.


The attributes:


ALCHEMY
No inherent effect. Skills related to making Potions and concocting mixtures and remedies become
more effective with higher Alchemy.

METALLURGY
No inherent effect. Skills related to manufactufing detonating devices and various other contraptions
become more effective with higher Metallurgy.

TRANSMUTATION (Primary)
Whenever you gain Powder, a Vial or a Schematic, for 5 seconds, your next Alchemist skill recharges 2%
faster for each point in this attribute.

CROSSBOW MASTERY
No inherent effect. Increases the damage dealt and your chance to critical with your Crossbow.

ALCHEMY


Conjure Vial
5 EN 1 SEC 2 SEC SKILL
You conjure in your hands an empty Vial for 8 seconds.


Create Powder
5 EN 1 SEC 2 SEC SKILL
Requires an empty Vial. Create Powder to be used with various Engineering Schematics.
This Powder remains stable for 15 seconds after which it fizzles and has a 20% chance of Blinding you temporarily.


Throw Vial
5 EN 1 SEC 8 SEC ATTACK
You throw an empty Vial at target foe. If it hits, that foe and all adjacent foes begin Bleeding for 4..8..14 seconds.


Crystal vials
10 EN 3 SEC 30 SEC SKILL
For 40 seconds your conjured empty Vials last 2..4..8 seconds longer.


Greater Healing Potion
10 EN 1 SEC 8 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Healing potion and consumed.
You gain 34..88..102 health.


Minor Healing Potion
5 EN 1 SEC 4 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Healing potion and consumed.
You gain 12..34..56 health.


Invisibility Potion
10 EN 3 SEC 30 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into an Invisibility potion and consumed.
For 1..6..8 seconds you become invisible and cannot be targetted. This effect ends if you use a skill or attack.


Invulnerability potion
15 EN 3 SEC 30 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into an Invulnerability potion and consumed.
For 1..3..5 seconds you are immune to damage.


Regenerative potion
5 EN 1 SEC 15 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into an Invulnerability potion and consumed.
For 10 seconds you gain +1..2..4 health regeneration.


Brewing
10 EN 1 SEC 20 SEC SKILL
For 20 seconds your Potions are finished 5%..25%..33% faster.


Blinding potion
10 EN 1 SEC 8 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Blinding potion and thrown at target foe.
If it hits, that foe is Blinded for 2..6..11 seconds.


Jade vials
10 EN 3 SEC 60 SEC SKILL
For 60 seconds your empty Vials deal 12..24..36 damage when thrown at target foe and all adjacent foes.
If consumed instead, foes adjacent to you take that amount of damage.


Master Alchemist
5 EN 1 SEC 30 SEC ELITE SKILL
For 20 seconds your next 5 Alchemic concoctions have their attributes raised by 1..2..3.


Freezing potion
5 EN 1 SEC 12 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Freezing potion and thrown at target foe.
If it hits that foe moves and attacks 50% slower for 1..4..7 seconds. This effect ends if that foe takes fire damage.


Burning cocktail
10 EN 1 SEC 15 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Burning cocktail and thrown at target foe.
If it hits that foe takes 12..32..45 fire damage and is set on fire for 1..2..3 seconds.


Jade bolts
10 EN 3 SEC 30 SEC PREPARATION
You create 5..15..30 Jade bolts for use with your Crossbow. These bolts deal +2..4..7 damage if they hit
and double that against Enchanted foes. Due to their unstable nature, these bolts expire after 12..21..30 seconds.


Blinding bolts
10 EN 3 SEC 30 SEC ELITE PREPARATION
You create 3..7..15 Blinding bolts for use with your Crossbow. These bolts Blind foes for 1..4..5 seconds
if they hit. Due to their unstable nature, these bolts expire after 12..21..30 seconds.


Potion of Strenght
10 EN 2 SEC 30 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Strenght potion and consumed.
For 15 seconds you deal +2..7..11 damage with attacks.


Curative potion
5 EN 1 SEC 20 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Curative potion and consumed.
You lose 1..1..2 conditions and for 3..7..11 seconds you are immune to Poison and Disease.


Toxicating vial
10 EN 1 SEC 15 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Toxicating vial and thrown at target foe.
If it hits, that foe and all adjacent foes become Poisoned for 6..11..15 seconds.


Freedom cocktail
10 EN 1 SEC 20 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Freedom cocktail and consumed.
You ignore all movement and attack speed impairing effects on you for 3..6..11 seconds.


Comatose cocktail
10 EN 2 SEC 30 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Comatose cocktail and thrown at target foe.
If it hits, that foe casts spells and attacks 100% slower for 4..8..15 seconds.


Ailment lifter
5 EN 1 SEC 20 SEC ELITE POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into an Ailment lifter and consumed.
You lose all conditions and Hexes.


Morale booster
5 EN 2 SEC 8 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Morale booster and consumed.
For 5..8..15 seconds you attack 33% faster but suffer deepening levels of intoxication each second.
Due to this toxic effect, your chance to hit is reduced by 15%.


Performance enhancer
5 EN 2 SEC 8 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Performance enhancer and consumed.
For 5..8..15 seconds you move 33% faster but when this skill ends, you suffer double Exhaustion.


Levitation syrup
10 EN 2 SEC 5 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Levitation syrup and consumed.
For 2..6..10 seconds you hower above groundlevel and are immune to earthbound effects such as traps and wards.
While howering, you move 33% slower.


Destabilizing liquid
10 EN 1 SEC 10 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Destabilizing liquid and consumed.
After 3 seconds you exhude a breath of fire from your mouth burning all adjacent foes in front of you
for 21..43..56 fire damage. All Bleeding foes are set on fire for 3 seconds.


Gutwrencher
10 EN 1 SEC 2 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Gutwrencher and consumed.
For 10 seconds you experience pretty colors and -7..5..3 health degeneration but you cannot be interrupted.
When this effect ends, you are knocked down.


Foaming potion
5 EN 1 SEC 20 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Foaming potion and thrown at target foe.
If it hits, target foe attackS 33% faster for 10 seconds but whenever that foe attacks, that foe loses 3..8..13 health.


Fumigation potion
10 EN 2 SEC 20 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Fumigation potion and thrown at target foe.
Target foe and all adjacent foes become Dazed for 1..2..4 seconds and all animal companion allies in the location are knocked down.


Inhalator
10 EN 1 SEC 25 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into an Inhalator and consumed.
All negative Potion effects on you are removed and you become immune to Dazed for 1..3..5 seconds.


Suffocating mixture
10 EN 2 SEC 30 SEC POTION
Requires an empty Vial. Your empty Vial is transmuted into a Suffocating mixture and thrown at target foe.
Target foe and all adjacent foes begin suffocating for 3..9..15 seconds and are interrupted every 3 seconds.

METALLURGY


Create Schematics
5 EN 1 SEC 2 SEC SKILL
You are provided with an Engineering Schematic. This skill lasts 15 seconds.


Stunning grenade
10 EN 2 SEC 20 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic and Powder. Create a Stunning grenade and throw it at target foe.
If it hits, that foe is Dazed for 1..3..6 seconds. If that foe was using a skill, that foe is knocked down.


Explosive grenade
10 EN 1 SEC 8 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic and Powder. Create an Explosive grenade and throw it at target foe.
If it hits, target foe and all adjacent foes take 21..56..75 fire damage.


Implosive grenade
10 EN 2 SEC 20 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic and Powder. Create an Explosive grenade and throw it at target foe.
If it hits, target foe is knocked down and takes 21..56..75 fire damage.


Shrapnels
10 EN 3 SEC 60 SEC SKILL
For 60 seconds your Grenades deal 5..15..24 Piercing damage when thrown to target foe and all adjacent foes.
All moving foes begin Bleeding for 5..12..17 seconds.


Detonator
15 EN 3 SEC 6 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic. Create a Detonator device and place it at your location.
After 15..11..8 seconds it detonates dealing 15..45..80 fire damage to nearby foes.


Needlebomb
10 EN 2 SEC 15 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic and Powder. Create a Needlebomb and throw it at target foe.
Target foe and all attacking adjacent foes take 15..45..65 Piercing damage and begin Bleeding for 4..11..15 seconds.


Puncturing grenade
10 EN 2 SEC 20 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic and Powder. Create an Explosive grenade and throw it at target foe.
If it hits, that foe cannot use shouts or chants for 8 seconds and whenever that foe becomes affected by a shout or chant,
that foe takes 15..25..35 Piercing damage.


Rupturing bomb
10 EN 2 SEC 15 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic and Powder. Create a Rupturing bomb and throw it at target foe.
If it hits, that foe begins to attack 33% slower for 10 seconds and takes 21..45..53 Piercing damage.


Master Engineer
5 EN 1 SEC 30 SEC ELITE SKILL
For 20 seconds your next 5 Metallurgy contraptions have their attributes raised by 1..2..3.


Splinter mine
10 EN 3 SEC 15 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic. Create a Splinter mine and set it at your location.
For 30 seconds, the next time a foe triggers it, it detonates dealing 12..34..54 Piercing damage to all nearby foes.
All moving foes become Crippled for 10 seconds.


Steeldip bolts
10 EN 3 SEC 30 SEC PREPARATION
Create 5..10..15 Steeldip bolts for use with your Crossbow. These bolts convert your Crossbow damage to
Blunt and deal +5..8..11 Blunt damage if they hit. Due to their heavier nature, these bolts move 15% slower.


Razorwing bolts
15 EN 3 SEC 30 SEC PREPARATION
Create 5..10..15 Razorwing bolts for use with your Crossbow. These bolts move 25% faster and deal Piercing damage.
All foes hit by these bolts begin Bleeding for 4..8..12 seconds.


Hollow bolts
5 EN 3 SEC 30 SEC ELITE PREPARATION
Create 5..10..15 Hollow bolts for use with your Crossbow. These bolts implode on impact if they hit dealing
+12..15..21 fire damage and knocking down moving foes. Due to their fragile nature, these bolts have a 20% chance to break in flight
dealing 15..28..42 Piercing damage on hit instead.


Manufacture Automaton
15 EN 5 SEC 45 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic. Create a level 2..16..20 Automatonic construct under your control.
Due to its experimental nature, it will wear and tear over time losing 60..35..15 health every 3 seconds.


Manufacture A.D.A.M.
15 EN 5 SEC 45 SEC ELITE DEVICE
Requires a Schematic. Create a level 5..20..25 Advanced Defensive Automatonic Mechanoid under your control.
Due to its experimental nature, it will wear and tear over time losing 60..35..15 health every 3 seconds.


Flash grenade
10 EN 1 SEC 15 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic and Powder. Create a Flash grenade and throw it at target foe.
All foes in target foe's location become Blinded for 1..7..10 seconds.


Maiming grenade
5 EN 1 SEC 8 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic and Powder. Create a Maiming grenade and throw it at target foe.
If it hits, that foe is Crippled for 4..11..14 seconds.


Spiraling rockets
15 EN 3 SEC 15 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic and Powder. Create 1..3..5 Spiraling rockets and launch them at target foe's location.
They deal 7..15..21 fire damage each to foes adjacent to their impact location.
These projectiles move 33% faster.


Sundering rocket
15 EN 3 SEC 20 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic and Powder. Create a Sundering rocket and launch it at target foe.
If it hits, that foe takes 15..30..45 Blunt damage and has -20 armor against Physical damage for 8 seconds.
This projectile moves 33% faster.


Impaling whizzlers
10 EN 3 SEC 20 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic and Powder. Create 2..5..7 Implaing whizzlers and launch them at target foe.
Target foe and all adjacent foes have a 33% chance of being hit by each Whizzler for 6..12..17 Piercing damage.
These projectiles move 33% faster and have 25% armor penetration.


Powder keg
15 EN 1 SEC 8 SEC ELITE SKILL
Requires Powder. Lots of it. Create a Powder keg at your location. Its fuse is lit and will burn for 15..8..4 seconds
after which the Keg explodes and deals 34..56..72 damage to all nearby foes knocking them down.


Crude scope
5 EN 1 SEC 60 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic. Create a crude Scope for use with your Crossbow. For 10..42..60 seconds your
chance to hit is increased by 33%.
Due to the fragile nature of this Scope, it has a 20% chance to break if you are hit in melee.


Panic button
10 EN 1 SEC 30 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic. Create a Panic button and press it. For 0..2..4 seconds you are immune to damage and move 50% faster.
When this effect ends you are knocked down.


V.A.U.
10 EN 3 SEC 30 SEC DEVICE
Requires a Schematic. Create a Victory Achieval Unit and activate it.
For 2..8..12 seconds your attacks cannot be blocked or evaded and ignore the effects of Blindness.
Due to its experimental nature, V.A.U. has a 20% chance to backfire on you and for this effect to end.


Tinkering
10 EN 1 SEC 30 SEC SKILL
For 20 seconds your Grenades, Bombs and Rockets are finished 5%..25%..33% faster.


Disarm contraption
5 EN 2 SEC 15 SEC SKILL
Target touched Engineering contraption is disabled for 3..8..16 seconds.

TRANSMUTATION


Refined bolts
10 EN 3 SEC 30 SEC PREPARATION
Create 3..12..15 Refined bolts for use with your Crossbow. These bolts are made of advanced alloys
allowing them to carry more sophisticated contraptions. Whenever a Refined bolt hits a foe, that foe's
armor is reduced by -2..4..7 up to a maximum reduction of -24 for 20 seconds.


Transmute into Fire
10 EN 3 SEC 45 SEC SKILL
Transmute your weapon to deal Fire damage for 15..45..60 seconds.
In addition, whenever you hit a burning foe, you strike for +5..11..17 additional damage.


Transmute into Copper
10 EN 3 SEC 45 SEC SKILL
Transmute your weapon to deal Piercing damage for 15..45..60 seconds.
In addition, whenever you hit a moving foe, that foe is Crippled for 1..3..5 seconds.


Transmute into Gold
5 EN 3 SEC 30 SEC ELITE SKILL
Transmute your weapon to remove an Enchantment whenever you hit a foe for 10..25..40 seconds.
In addition, you deal +10..15..24 damage to Enchanted foes.


Transmute into Silver
10 EN 3 SEC 45 SEC SKILL
Transmute your weapon to deal Slicing damage for 5..25..40 seconds.
In addition, whenever you hit a Hexed foe, you gain 1..3..5 Energy.


Transmute negatives
15 EN 2 SEC 30 SEC SKILL
All negative Potion effects are removed from each party member.


Transmute Powder
5 EN 3 SEC 15 SEC SKILL
Requires Powder. Your Powder is transmuted into a higher form allowing it to last longer.
Your Powder lasts 10 seconds longer and the dose can be used 2..3..4 times.

CROSSBOW MASTERY


Powdered bolt
5 en X sec 6 sec
Shoot a Powdered bolt at target foe that strikes
for +5..17..21 damage if it hits.


Multishot
10 en X sec 10 sec
Shoot one arrow at target foe that splits into 1..2..3 and deals +3..7..9 damage each if they hit.


Icing bolt
10 en 1 sec 12 sec
Shoot an Icing bolt at target foe slowing that foe down to 50% of normal and dealing
+5..17..21 damage if it hits.


Guided bolt
10 en 1 sec 10 sec
Shoot a Guided bolt at target foe. This bolt moves twice as fast and cannot be blocked or evaded.
If it hits it deals +5..17..21 damage and you gain 10..21..30 health for each Enchantment on that foe.


Immolating bolt
10 en X sec 7 sec
Shoot a burning bolt at target foe. If it hits, that foe and 2 adjacent foes are set on fire
for 1..3..4 seconds and take 12..28..36 fire damage if attacking.


Power strike
5 en 1 sec 3 sec
Target foe takes 12..28..36 damage if this shot hits.


Charged bolt
10 en X sec 5 sec
Target foe takes +7..20..30 lightning damage if this shot hits.
Lightning damage has 25% armor penetration.


Impaling haste
10 en 1 sec 20 sec
For 6..9..12 seconds you attack 33% faster but your attack skills take 5 additional seconds to recharge.


Energy bolt
5 en X sec 10 sec
Target foe takes 30..67..78 damage if this shot hits. If it fails to hit, you lose 10..7..4 energy.


Jab
5 en 1 sec 15 sec
Target foe is knocked down and takes +8..21..28 damage if this shot hits.
This damage is halved if that foe has any Enchantments on them.


Repeating shot
5 en X sec 0 sec
If this shot hits, it deals +2..5..11 damage. If it fails to hit, it is disabled for 15 seconds.
